Well! I know June isn't quite over yet, but I've been itching to talk about my trip since getting back. I spent 2 weeks in Italy with my boyfriend and it was AMAZING! I've only been out of the country once before, to London — which we coincidentally got a layover in after our trip. EHHH… not my favorite spot upon my revisit lol. Very gloomy and didn’t get the best vibe.

There is something so magical about Europe in the summer. We stayed in Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, and Venice. I have to say, I went in expecting to love Florence and not really enjoy Rome all that much, but surprisingly Rome was by far way more enjoyable than Florence. Unfortunately, so much of Italy is mobbed by foreign tourists, but Rome — in spite of that — still feels like a livable place. I cannot imagine living in Florence and dealing with the volume of tourists in the summer. It really makes Hollywood look like a local hangout.

I’m really looking forward to getting back to working on my life lol. This trip was really a big deal for Joe and me, as it marks the beginning of a new chapter for us in LA — finding more suitable long-term work and housing. We’ve been living with his parents for a year, which has been amazing! However, I’m almost 25 and feeling a bit lost not having my own space to call home. I think as I grow and learn about myself, I’ve realized that my own space is so important to me and my well-being. I cannot wait to decorate!
